Ingredients of Methi Muthiya

  1. You need of Methi leaves 1cup (finely chopped).
  2. It's 1 tbsp of Curd.
  3. It's 2 tbsp of Ginger garlic paste.
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp of Chopped green chillies.
  5. You need Gram of flour 3-4tbsp.
  6. You need 1 tbsp of Rice flour.
  7. It's of Salt as per your taste.
  8. It's 1/2 tbsp of Red chilliy powder.
  9. You need 1 tbsp of Lemon juice.
  10. You need of Water 1-2tbsp (if required).
  11. You need 2 cups of Oil.

Methi leaves are washed, chopped and mixed with wheat flour, besan and other indian spices to make a dough. Cauliflower Palak Methi Muthia are then steamed and tossed in a cumin-fennel seed tadka along with curry leaves. You can made many variations to the traditional muthia. Method: Mix together all the ingredients for the muthia/kababs, to make a smooth dough.

Methi Muthiya instructions

  1. Firstly take a bowl and add finely chopped methi leaves and salt in it..
  2. Keep it aside for 5minutes and u will find that the leavesust have got moist..
  3. At this stage add curd, ginger garlic paste, green chillies..
  4. Mix it well and add lime juice and red chilli powder to it..
  5. Add gram flour and rice flour to it..
  6. Bind it well and mix it properly..
  7. If needed add a spoon of water to make the mixture little moist(this step is completely optional as it depends upon the moisture and the texture of the mixture).
  8. Noe take a frying pan and add oil to it..
  9. Let it be hot..
  10. Now make small balls of the mixture and deep fry it in the oil..
  11. Eat it hot and crisp..
